A conversation during the 2015 PCMA Education Conference gave way to a new program at Convening Leaders 2016 –  [email protected], a three-hour forum to discuss women in leadership. Now, we will continue the discussion at the chapter level.

[email protected] will discuss a number of issues facing professionals in the meetings industry, including diversity and inclusion, career advancement, and personal branding. The event will kick-off with breakfast and a panel discussion led by Tamela Blalock, Executive Director of the Section on Women’s Health (SOWH), a 3,000-member professional association for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students working within and advocating for vital areas of women’s and men’s health, including pelvic floor health, sport injury recovery, and continence. After we break into roundtable discussions, Linda Schenk will advise attendees on the importance of building your personal compass.
