Sip & Learn:

Kickstart your Event Cybersecurity Program – Identifying Sensitive Data and Organizational Impacts

Most events and conference today collect, process or store personal information and/or accept credit & debit card payments. What kind of data does your organization touch and what would happen if it were compromised? In addition, most events also rely on technology, applications and 3rd party cloud services to run their operations. What would happen if these services were unavailable? The purpose of this presentation is to share strategies to help you answer these questions and give you some ideas about how assess potential business impacts of a cyber incident. The foundation of any cybersecurity strategy is to know what you are protecting and why. This presentation will help you get started in this direction and provide additional insights into how you can improve your existing cybersecurity program.

This program has been submitted to the Events Industry Council for CMP Preferred Provider review.
