Many thanks to our volunteers that came out on July 13 to support Moveable Feast, a Baltimore non-profit that provides nutritious foods and other services in order to preserve quality of life for people with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening conditions.
As a result of our volunteers’ efforts, our chapter prepared 234 delivery packages that will make up over 1,100 meals; prepared 46 servings of banana bread; and seasoned over 25 pounds of vegetables for roasting.
If you weren’t able to help with this event, there is still an opportunity for you to support this worthwhile cause. Eat out at one of the participating restaurants in Dining Out for Life 2017 on Thursday, September 14 and between 25% – 100% of their sales will be donated to Moveable Feast.
